Carly Burke
Carly Burke is a property solicitor with 17 years’ experience across Melbourne and Ballarat, advising on conveyancing and broader property law for residential, rural, commercial and development matters. She works with developers, councils, investors, buyers and sellers across a wide range of transactions.Carly is known for providing practical, tailored advice and for explaining complex issues clearly. She also assists with wills, powers of attorney and estate matters.
Annette Stone
Annette Stone is a founding Partner of Ballarat Lawyers and a Family Law Specialist accredited since 2016. She qualified in England and Wales in 2002, practised family law for eight years, and relocated to Australia in 2010. Annette provides clear, practical advice across all areas of family law and is known for her calm, supportive approach in guiding clients through stressful proceedings.
Elizabeth Joseph
Elizabeth moved from Queensland to Victoria in 2016 to study law, completing her Bachelor of Laws at Victoria University and her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. She previously spent several years working as a Registered Nurse and gained legal experience through an internship with Victoria Legal Aid, before working across property law matters. She brings a calm, client-focused approach to her work and is committed to achieving practical, positive outcomes for clients. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys time with her two dogs, road trips and video editing.
Tara Leonard
Tara is a Ballarat local with a background in Occupational Health and Injury Management coordination within the healthcare sector. She also completed a Certificate III in Retail Baking and enjoys making special occasion cakes for friends and family.
New to Family Law, Tara works as a paralegal and enjoys learning new skills while supporting clients towards positive outcomes. Outside of work, she loves the outdoors, camping and fishing.
